Gather your photos/fabric, your memories, and your girlfriends for a weekend of scrapbooking/quilting fun here on the Ranch. We provide the perfect location in the country, only 90 miles from St. Louis in the Ozarks!

Take time from your busy daily life to get away and be creative—Scrapbooking retreats are the perfect break from the day-to-day world where you can record your memories and let your creative juices flow. Quilting retreats allow you to finish that project undisturbed while having fun when you stay at Koinania Valley Ranch and enjoy the scenery as you work and play with your friends. Gather a few friends and spend the weekend with us.

At Koinania Valley Ranch we offer your group of 2-8 or more ladies a retreat custom made for the scrapbooking/quilting/crafting enthusiast. Bring your supplies and we will provide the rest. With the addition of 6 foot tables, comfy cushioned seating and additional personal lighting in the lodging units, you will enjoy plenty of space to spread out and “crop till you drop”. For quilt retreats we also include design walls, XL cutting mat, irons and ironing boards. No worries about chores or meals as Emily will supply delicious homemade meals to your group. Enjoy all the benefits of a relaxing country retreat while accomplishing your projects and indulging your creative talents.

Each Retreat runs from Friday at 1pm to Sunday at 3pm or Thursday at 1pm to Sunday at 3pm.

The cost for Fri-Sun is $175 per person (minimum 2) + tax with a $50 deposit to hold your spot. The cost for Thu-Sun is $215 per person (minimum 2) + tax with a $50 deposit to hold your spot.
At the time of your reservation I will select which unit will best accommodate your group based upon the number of attendees.

At each retreat you get…….

3 days and 2 nights lodging or 4 days and 3 nights lodging (Each bedroom accommodates 1 or 2 croppers, bunk bed rooms will sleep 3.) Begin a tour of the Hummingbird House, Cabin and Ranch House here.

Delicious meals served (Supper on Thursday, Breakfast and Supper on Friday, Breakfast and Supper on Saturday and Brunch on Sunday with drinks of coffee, juice, and iced tea (Bring your own soft or hard drinks). Many attenders enjoy bringing their own fun snacks to share with the group.

Typical Menu may include:

• Supper: Delicious homemade soup or chili, with bread/cornbread, raw veggies/dip, plus dessert and drinks
• Breakfast: Homemade muffins, yogurt, bagels & cream cheese, fruit, and drinks OR Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, fruit and drinks
• Supper: Mexican casserole or Pasta dish, salad, dessert and drink
• Brunch: French Toast with Maple Syrup or Scrambled egg breakfast casserole, Bacon and/or Sausage, fruit, coffee and juice.

Scrapbooking/quilting and meals takes place in your lodging unit.

If you want a break from creating, visit antiques and specialty shops in the Village of Caledonia or enjoy peaceful country walks down to the river area.

We also offer Self-Catered Retreats – This is something new we are offering. You may rent one of our units fully set up for cropping, bring your own food and share in the cooking using the fully equipped kitchens. With this option you can attend a retreat for less money! Self-Catered retreats for Fri-Sun are only $125 per person + tax with a $50 deposit to hold your spot. Self-Catered retreats for Thu-Sun are only $150 per person + tax with a $50 deposit to hold your spot. Ask me how you can attend 1/2 price as the coordinator.
